The domain will be registered under your name. Personal data you provide, such as address, email and phone will be shown in the public WhoIs database, as required by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).
In some cases when your data appears in a Whois query, it can cause issues since it can be used by spammers or other cybercriminals. The domain registration time will depend on the payment method you chose at registration. If you want to have the domain as soon as possible, we recommend paying by credit card.
Remember that some domains, like .COM, register instantly, while some regional or premium domains may take several hours.
Once your domain is registered and you have pointed it to a hosting or site, you should wait between 1 and 24 hours until it starts responding to your hosting plan. This is due to the DNS propagation.
You must choose an extension for your domain name. The extension is what is to the right of the dot in an Internet address, for example, .com, .net, .org or .info.
Use your company or specialty name to place next to the extension, remember that this is how people will find you online.

To keep the rights to your web domain you must pay the corresponding renewal fee once the registration expiration date arrives.
When this doesn't happen, the domain enters a suspension period for ten days, during which the registrar removes it from its server and at that point both the site and the email accounts associated with that domain stop working.
If the domain holder decides to pay the renewal, it is added back to the server and becomes active again until its next expiration. Renewal will only be possible if the domain has not entered the redemption period.
